Welcome and Introduction

Welcome to my EDCI 337: Interactive & Multimedia Learning learning blog. Throughout the course, I will use this site to record my reflections, inquiry development, and multimedia learning.

Before beginning, I carefully considered my privacy preferences and how I want to engage in online learning spaces. I’ve decided to keep up a public blog hosted on opened.ca, which permits open sharing of my work while retaining control over individual posts through password protection or privacy if necessary.

In a professional and academic setting, I have chosen to use my real name on this blog. This decision reflects my desire to practice responsible digital authorship and use this website as a learning portfolio. I will keep my reflections focused on learning rather than personal details, and I am careful about what personal information I disclose.

As I start working on this blog, my first tasks will be to organize entries using categories and tags, ensure that posts are properly published to the course website, and experiment with features like adding pages, integrating media, and modifying the site’s layout. I also intend to continuously update the site’s appearance and navigation as my material expands.

Throughout this course, I will follow FIPPA guidelines and only reveal names, photographs, or materials that I have permission to use or that are publicly available. When doubtful, I will seek advice before publishing.

This blog represents the start of my learning experience in EDCI 337, and I am excited to use it as a forum for reflection and growth.
